| STANDARDS |
• PEPL Cable Glands are manufactured and
tasted to the requirement of BS 6121 - 1 : 2005,
BS 62444 : 2013 and other standard as applicable.
• The outer & inner sheath seals in PEPL
Glands have a wider range than required by BS 6121
due to superior design.
• Certain Glands in our range whilst not covered
by BS 6121 are generally made and tasted to this
standard as appropriate. |

| MATERIALS & FINISHES |
• PEPL Cable Glands are manufactured as
standard in Brass extrusion (as per BS 2874 CZ121
3pb), Aluminium extrusion BS 1476 or EN 755 (for
use in conjunction with aluminium wire & Strip
armoured Cables) Mild Steel & Stainless Steel
316 (BS 970). Alternative materials include Brass
casting (BS 2874). Brass casting free from blow
holes, spots, porocity or any casting defects.
• The standard material is unplated Brass. However on specific request plating will be done as per requirement. |

| ENTRY THREADS |
| • Metric threads 1.5 mm pitch is standard
up to & including size 75 mm. For size above
75 mm pitch would be 2 mm. EN 60423 applies only
on Brass, aluminium & Stain Less Steel Cable
Glands comply with BS 6121 - 1 : 2005 & BS 62444
: 2013. |
